Our carers are the face of Solution2Care Services; everyday they represent us in the homes of customers in the West Midlands, this is a special job, and it needs special people to do it well and uphold the company’s values in the process.

The Right Kind of People

It takes a certain type of person to make a great carer. Compassionate, caring, enthusiastic and empathetic. You need to have empathy, integrity and resilience to become a carer. You will have to be diligent, adaptable and reliable with a positive outlook and proactive attitude. Being chatty helps, friendly, approachable and being a good listener is a necessity. If you can tick those boxes and are keen to learn, then you might be Solution2Care Services Limited kind of person.

Induction

The organisation offers a robust and in-depth induction which requires the candidate to be available for in-house training for a minimum of 2 weeks. They would be additionally required to complete skills for care work book which has to be approved by a member of management before a carer is able to work in the Community on their own. This is a prerequisite, the only exception would be if the employee has completed the skills for care induction with a formal employee. We would need certificates to prove this.

We are excited to expand our Community Carers opportunity. We currently have a number of vacancies suiting an individual that would like to make a difference. The role of a Community Carer plays an important function to the organisation as they are there to make a difference to our client’s life. The duties performed varies from day to day but can include assisting clients with washing, dressing, administrating medication to providing a companionship service including accompanying clients on holiday. No two days are the same.

We all need that little bit of help in our lives and the role of the Community Carer will be there to provided that added and valued support to our clients .

To become a carer experience is not required as full training will be provided including a 12 week training program, full induction training and certification at the end of your training. To apply, all that we ask is that you have:
